*nods* Yep, I agree about the Cas situation with Dean, what I'm saying is that show, in canon does explain this, Sam though? Not so much.
I used to really like Cas, I can still like him at times when I feel there is a place for him, but as an all powerful angel I do feel he's compromised a lot of danger our heroes could face and find that, as a viewer who revels in hurt and peril, very depressing. Cas fans though and the Cas part of fandom often makes me either want to shoot them - or ME! This 'they must make Destiel canon' crap petitions and stuff, floats across my bows occasionally and actually makes my want to cry for the show, I could never watch that. Apparently though that instantly labels me as homophobic - or something - I give up with them, it's getting ugly and nasty and another reason I very rarely step outside my flist here on l/j
Editing to add - it's a small faction of Cas fans, I want to make that clear, plenty of his fans love the show exactly as it is and love all the other characters too - small factions often make the most noise and that comes to my attention.
Ah, Twitter, how I kind of hate thee... hee, Yes, I saw that Tweet, what a coincidence, how that happened I have no idea, I have this strange relationship with Twitter, similar to Tumblr, every now and then I'll dip in thinking, I'm wrong, it'll be great - *sigh* Never works for me. I made an account about the same time as Collins, but quickly discovered his brand of humour didn't suit me and the things that were being tweeted back to him I found creepy. Not half as creepy as I found the Js bodyguard, one week of him was enough to scare me away from Twiiter for over a year! Last hiatus I tried again, which was when I found out how much time JP was in Austin and all that arguing with fans back and forth and at each other's throats over him and Mrs Ackles and her family and his family and I stood that for a couple of days totally floored by the whole fiasco and I was out - again. I'm wrong, I know it's me, I kind of think celebrity Tweeting would be more promotional for their careers etc, but it's all far, far too personal for me, I'm not one for actors real lives, characters are where my interests lie.
I never learn though and a last week was it? I started trying to follow some of the crew, thought that would suit me better, be more show orientated and came across that Tweet from this guy - I didn't follow it any further, didn't see your question, which I think if totally valid and I'm sorry you got called on it, but once again it's the fan thought police that run all through that place that finally make me throw the towel in, this time for good, I think I've finally got over my inquisitiveness now and will wait for official interviews and the like - even those, I pick and choose these days.
